Brammer Nearly Back

The 28 year old came through a full training session yesterday after spending six months out of action with a groin/pelvic injury. Brams had a operation in December and despite a few minor set backs he will now be returning at a vital time.

Brammer will play a reserve match next week and if he comes through that then he could find himself playing against Rotherham, at Gresty Road, a week tomorrow.

Dario remains cautious for the moment though, "Dave Brammer is back in training and did very well yesterday. It was his best session since he came back and we just hope that he can maintain that now.

"He was striking the ball both short and long, holding people off and looking fit and strong. I said to him that if it was a fitness test then he looked fit enough to play, but we know that it's not as easy as that - but he looked back to his best

"He is close but he will remain cautious with him."

Brams is seen as the most influencial player by many involved in the club the same old "If Brammer doesn't play well then Crewe don't play well". Him returning for the last 7 or 8 games would give us that boost to go on and get well over 50 points.
