Dave Brammer : 'We've been scoring goals in games but I think there are times when we might have to be happy with nicking games 1-0.

'The matches we've got coming up is not the easiest programme but they are still games we look at thinking we can win them. I think the lads are comfortable with what they are doing now. It's a settled formation and the lads know their roles and what is expected of them. And even if we are under the cosh in games now, we feel as though there is enough about us to pull it around.'

'There is a gap opening up at the top but it's not a massive gap. We've just got to hope we can collect points over Christmas and that the top teams drop a few.

'It's a busy time for a footballer and although you like to spend time with the family over Christmas, it's always a time of year you look forward to. As long as we start games in the right way and go about our business, I'm sure we can pick up the points.'
