Brammer has another set back

The former Port Vale battler has been suffering a 'pelvic' injury all season and had a operation in December. Having been out since August Brammer is well and truly frustrated at the injury and this week had another set back.

After being introduced into full training for the first time since October he picked up a minor strain that has set him back a couple more weeks...

"Dave is no closer to a return to be honest. He suffered a little strain, which he has pretty well got rid of. But it has set him back a bit after he had started working with me again.

"He has had to stop that and he is back with the physios now."

Meanwhile, Allan Smart is still 6 weeks away from fitness, and Chris McCready, who was threatened with the axe at the end of the season if he couldn't get over his injuries, is not much nearer a return.
