Hassan Wissam has joined on a two week trial hoping to impress the backroom staff at Gresty Road.
The 25 year-old Lyon born Moroccan had been recommended by Madjid Bougherra who was a former team mate with Wissam at French outfit FC Gueugnon.
Wissam who is actually classed as a forward stands at 6ft and weighs in at 11st 9lbs has also played for FC Vaulx-en-Velin of the French League before he joined FC Gueugnon in 2003. Even though he is down as a forward it seems the player favors the midfield position. Along with Savage, Wissam are training with the young pro's and scholars as look they to feature in the friendlies against Quorn, Nantwich Town and Southport.
