Big guns look set to play.

Liverpool FC look set to bring a large squad down for this Saturday's pre-season game at Gresty Road.

Some of the senior players look set to make an appearance this Saturday with Benitez expecting to play England internationals Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher, Jermaine Pennant and Peter Crouch, Spanish International Xabi Alonso , Ukrainian Andriy Voronin and Mali international Mohammed Sissoko.
New record signing Fernando Torres will be missing because the Spaninsh La Liga only finished three weeks ago and the club have said he can join the club next week in Switzerland.

A few youngsters are also set for a run out and try and impress Benitez, those include last seasons scorer Craig Lidfield, Jack Hobbs and Austrian forward Besian Idrizaj who bagged a hat-trick against Wrexham in Liverpool's 3-2 win last weekend.
