Barnard to sign at the end of the week.

The ongoing Lee Barnard transfer may come to the end before the weekend and if fit could feature against one of his former loan clubs, Leyton Orient.

23 year-old Barnard was due to arrive in South Cheshire last weekend but a minor knock required treatment at Spurs.

Crewe coach Steve Holland told The Sentinel: "Barnard was due to arrive on Sunday night, but he picked up an injury at Spurs, who did not want to send him unfit. It is nothing serious."
