Barnard to arrive next week.

In a transfer saga that has had more twist and turns than the Crest Run the club hope to tie up the loan of Lee Barnard from Spurs.

In the latest twist Barnard has now picked up a slight knock and will receive treatment before he set off for South Cheshire on Sunday.
Crewe have tracked the promising youngster all summer and now the club hope they can put this deal to bed on Monday.
23-year-old Barnard looks set to join up on a six month loan deal after Spurs and Crewe sorted out their differences and Martin Jol and his team feel that the player will get regular football at the Alex.
