Maynard has played the last two games as the player looks to increase his fitness levels and scored his first goal of the season in the 3-2 againsy Gillingham.
The Baggies had a scout at Saturday's game and was the 5th visit by a scout this season from the West Midlands club who also visited many times last season.
Maynard is contracted to the club until 2010 but no doubt if a decent bid came in the club would not stand in his way, add to the fact that Danny Woodards is also being tracked by a few clubs a possible double departure would dent any challange for a play-off place and would also have an impact on attendances.
