Away ground guide - Hereford United

Last updated : 30 August 2008 By Site Staff.

Crewe are on the road this weekend and travel down to Hereford United hoping to pick up there first away win of the season over the bottom club.

Edgar Street opened in 1924 and has a capacity of 8,843 with only 1,761 seats in the ground. A little stat about the ground and that it is the largest pitch in the top five divisions measuring 114 x 76 yards.

Where to Drink.

Nearest place for a drink is the clubs bar called Legends but if you feel like a little walk then the Oxford Arms is close by to the car park. Another pub recommended is the Newmarket Tavern which offers large screen football and for those who like real ale then the Victory tavern is the place to go.
