Attention turns to Betsy.

Last updated : 27 September 2007 By ChalkDust
Betsy in action for Oldham Athletic.
With Steve Holland and assitant manager Neil Baker making the long trip to Bournemouth on Tuesday to see Bristol City reserves win 7-1 and with Phil Jevons bagging a hat-trick talk was rife that the Alex may have the ideal striker.
Now with manager Gary Johnson saying there is no deal and that Jevons is staying put for the time being the Railwaymen may seek a loan move for Kevin Betsy.

Former Oldham Athletic, Barnsley and Wycombe Wanderers midfielder joined the Robins in January 2007 for a fee of £150k and has been linked before with Crewe.
29-year-old Betsy who can play on the right side of midfield or as a striker has found himself like Jevons down the pecking order at Ashton Gate and only playing in the reserves.
