22-year-old Ruddy will straight into the squad that faces Tranmere Rovers this Saturday after boss Gudjon Thordarson decided he had seen enough from keepers Stuart Tomlinson and Steve Collis.

Ruddy joined Everton from Cambridge United for a fee of £250k and has only made one appearance for the Toffee's.
