Crewe will have to fight off competition if they want to sign Spurs striker Lee Barnard on loan.
Millwall are reported to be interested in the 22-year-old has been reported to be shown round Crewe's training complex last week and now looks to have a decision to make.
Barney as he is know round Spurs came through the academy ranks and signed professional forms back in 2002.
Since then Barnard has been a prolific scorer in the Spurs reserve side who play in the Barclays Reserve League South.
Barnard has had a taste of lower league football when he was loaned out to Exeter City (2002), Leyton Orient (2004-05) and Northampton Town (2005) and also a stint at Conference club Stevenage Borough in 2004.
