A word with the Rivals - Huddersfield Town.

Football returns to the Alexandra Stadium this weekend following a series of postponement due to the bad weather.

Following the 1-0 victory over Southend United this past Tuesday night, Crewe find themselves just 5 points from safety and will be looking at increasing the good run of form at home.

Opponents Huddersfield Town are on the up in their centenary season, currently sitting just outside the play-off places and coming into this game after beating local rivals Leeds 1-0. But, despite their position in the table, they have struggled away from the Galpharm Stadium...will that be the same this weekend?

I caught up with two Huddersfield fans to get their thoughts on the season so far, WakeyTerrier and MB&WB (OCS) from BBC 606 providing the voice of their side.

"Right guys, your side are currently 5 points off of the promotion zone; do you think you will be able to get in the play-offs by the end of the season?"

WakeyTerrier: "Hopefully Yes. There always seems to be 1 team that comes from nowhere to make the playoffs so with a bit of luck that could be us."
MB&WB (OCS): "Yeah, I think it will be very tight between the top 10 'til the end of the season but think we may just nick 6th place...apart from Leicester City that is."

"Lee Clark was brought in as your manager in December, how do you rate his performance in the job so far?"

WakeyTerrier: "Very good, overall the performances have improved and the style of Football is some of the best we have seen in years at times."
MB&WB (OCS): "He's been a very good appointment, he has brought a fantastic backroom staff with him and some of the players he has brought in look top draw. We have been playing better then we have in a long while and it is a pleasure to be going to games, not felt that good in a long while."

"Gary Roberts has been impressive for your team this season, how do you rate him?"

MB&WB (OCS): "Roberts is a very good winger, Championship quality at least, and has caused many teams a headache this season. He can deliver great crosses and set pieces so if we can get our forward line sorted we should start to score a lot more."
WakeyTerrier: "Fantastic player, he has the ability to play in Championship without a doubt."

"Now to the game, which of your players should we be looking out for?"

WakeyTerrier:
"The aforementioned Gary Roberts, the pace and skills of both Anthony Pilkington and Lionel Ainsworth and keep your eyes peeled for Micky Collins bursting through midfield to support the forwards, he pops up with vital goals at crucial times."
MB&WB (OCS): "Lionel Ainsworth looks quite a handful, very very quick and he scared the hell out of Leeds in the first half on Saturday. Pilkington equally looks very good and got a got touch, very skilful. Our defence is pretty solid at the moment with the keeper doing great and grabbing the headlines and the back four looking solid, especially Butler in the middle who is immense."

"As always, there are two sides in this game...so which Crewe players will you be wary of during the game?"

MB&WB (OCS): "
I must admit I don't know a great deal about Crewe's players this season, always seen Crewe as a team though never singled out players. I think that's the reason many opposition fans have respect for Crewe as always seem to play as a unit."
WakeyTerrier: "Clayton Donaldson, if that guy had put his shooting boots on against us at the Galpharm the end score could've quite easily been the other way round."

"Are you planning on making the trip to the game and will it be another good Away following?"

WakeyTerrier:
"I'll be there, should easily be in excess of 1000."
MB&WB (OCS):
"I will be coming to the game, we should sell out our allocation."

"OK guys, thanks for your time. Before you head off, can we have a prediction for the game?"

MB&WB (OCS): "I think 1-0 to Town. From all accounts you seem to be a tough side to beat at the moment and our forward line hasn't been the best so think it will be 1-0 or 2-0. Our defence is very good and from what I have read you are struggling to score too so think we will keep a clean sheet."
WakeyTerrier: "I'm hoping Crewe will come at us and try and play football like it should be played, if you do then I can see the pace of Roberts, Ainsworth and Pilkington catching you on the break Crewe 1-2 Town"
