- Inspired the team, his first half display was impecible, caught everything that was launched into the box, made a great reflex save from Kavanagh. Couldn't fault him for either of the goals. 8/10

David Wright -
Solid performance from the out of position right back who continues to fill in at left back. Didn't over commit going forward and stook to his role well in the absense of Vaughan. 7/10

Richard Walker
- The towering centre back was dominant in the air, mae Earnshaw appear average for 84 mins. Decent dispaly yet momentary lapse proved costly. 7/10

Stephen Foster -
Typical Foz display, solid without over exuberance. Much like Walker, but was called upon less. 6/10

Efe Sodje -
Whole hearted Nigerian was as reliable as ever, faultless display, linked up well with the midfield. Must become more of a threat at corners in my view. 7/10

Kenny Lunt -
Impressive overall display, complimented Brammer well, uncharacteristically tough in the tackle, great vision to release Hulse on the goal. 8/10

Dave Brammer -
Yet to reach top form, yet still impressive. Tenacious tackling, used the ball well. 7/10

Dean Ashton -
Admittedly played out of position but lacked enthusiasm and commitment. Game passed him by. At fault for the first goal. Must do better if he is wants to impress the scouts. 5/10

Neil Sorvel -
Steady display, broke up numerous Cardiff attacks, lacked charisma at times, must look to aid the attack more often. Decent display from the fomer Macclesfield man. 7/10

Rob Hulse -
Continued his impressive scoring run. Took his chance with calmness when others would have paniced. The Crewe bron frontman missed a decent chance at 0-0 but his all round effort and commitment was an example to all. 8/10

Rodney Jack -
Kept quiet by the impressive Gabbidon, occassional glimpses of his ability. Must prove himself against the big boys if we are to prosper, missed a glourious chance to double our lead at 1-0. 6/10
