Hulse hasn't signed for Cardiff City.
Cardiff City have made a bid for the hitman and Dario and Crewe Alexandra FC have accepted their bid. That simply means they are free to talk to Hulse and his agent. Hulse is not a Cardiff City player, he has absolutely no links with them. Hulse is still on holiday in France, Lennie Lawrence, the Cardiff manager, is also on holiday. Talks are yet to commence and probably won't do until deep into next week. Crewe can still listen to offers from other clubs, Crewe can also accept other offers for Hulse.
Next week when Hulse starts talking to Lennie Lawrence, via Sam Hammam, he may not even want to listen to their terms. There is nothing stopping Robbie telling them no.
Hulse has an agent, his agent knows bigger clubs are interested in Hulse - we've heard a couple of those clubs are PNE & WBA - his agent has a duty to convince them clubs Hulse is good and cheap enough to try and buy. Nothing is set in stone for Hulse and Steve Hughes, Hulse's agent, is the only man to have officially spoke about the deal since the acceptance of the offer and if you ask me he sounded like they have no intentions of moving to South Wales.
So before getting on Hulse's back about taking a sideways step - think... he hasn't even spoke to Cardiff let alone agreed a contract.
Secondly, Replacements. Why do i get the feeling from some fellow Crewe fans they are certain Dario's involved in some conspiracy where he will refuse to bring any players in for the new season?
It's 5 weeks till the new season for goodness sake. One thing that also doesn't help the matter is the fact the transfer window is closed until Tuesday next week. Even if Dario wanted to bring in new players, he wouldn't be allowed to.
Neil Baker confirmed the club were contacting potential signings only a week or two ago. Can't we just leave the 'lack of ambition' and letting 3 quality(Sorry? Jack and Walton 'quality? Hmm) players go without replacements, just until August. Try and moan about something else. Like Big Brother and what aload of cr*p it is, yet watch it secretly at 10pm. It's true though, it is crap since Jon left.
