Editors Cardiff prediction....

A testing trip to Ninian Park has left the bookies with mixed opinions of the final result, crewealex.com editor Jamie Roberts shares his thoughts....

After indifferent home form, with a lack of goals and the abysmal defeat to Notts County, the away form has been a key factor in us lying in 5th position. The emphatic win at Field Mill was followed by a brisk passign display and two Rodney Jack goals to see off the Vale in the Worthington Cup, that was followed by a drab 0-0 draw away at Peterborough and more recently, Rob Hulse scored two goals and resolute defending allowed the Alex to come away from Adams Park with a 2-1 win.

However, tomorrow is another story, the Bluebirds sit top of the nest (boom boom!) and have lost only once at home, their scoring record isn't great but they have only conceded 7 goals in 10 games. The two sides have good form leading into the divisions game of the day and both teams will consider themselves firm promotion candidates...

I predict a tight, end to end game which will be decided by a single goal. the pressure will be on Cardiff to come at the Alex and the visiiting defence will be tested from the kick-off to final whilstle.

If our backline can maintain their impecible form of late, then I think we will get chances on the break due to the power and drive of Hulse and the pace and skills of Jack....

I therefore predict that we shall hold firm at the back, and Rodney Jack will snatch a dramatic late winner.... Cardiff 0 - Alex 1
