And I hear that Kevin Kent at Vale Park is talking to Brian Horton...[cut to Vale Park]
-Yes John, thanks. I've got Brian Horton here. Brian, do you feel disappointed to be leaving the club?
-I tell you something, I've been at this club for 6 years, and then I come down here and get asked questions like that! Do I feel disappointed? No. I'm just a bit disappointed.
-OK Brian, what do you feel were the reasons for leaving?
-My players have let me down. We worked on everything in training, and I've told them. I've told them. They've let me down. I tell you. When something like this happens, what can you do?
-So the players let you down?
-My players have been great. Bridgey has let me down. Littlejohn. I've told him. Briscs. Weve worked on that in training. But when that happens again and again, what can you do?
-How do you feel about the support you've had from the fans?
- Well I tell you. The fans have let me down. And the players. My players have been brilliant out there for me. Brilliant. With what we've got here. I tell you. The support? Its been brilliant. The haven't let anybody down.
-Do you think the players have what it takes to get that promotion Brian?
-The players are fine. I'm just disappointed. We should be winning out there. For them to score with a free header like in that last game. Weve worked on that in training. I've told them. Two free headers. We dont get free headers. Ever. But we could have got a result. Brooko should have score with that free header.
-Who do you think is the right man for the job?
-My players won't let anybody down and I think it should be a man with the club at heart. This is a great club. A great club. This town is a great town, the people have been great here. The fans have paid their money every week and they've been great.
-Thank you Brian, good luck for the future, and you never know, maybe in a few years time you could be back..
-Yes thanks Kevin, and the Lorne St stand might even be finished
