Brammer will want the win more than anyone
The day we beat Vale 2-1 in the league the FA Cup draw placed us with our 3rd visit to Vale Park in as many months. Beating them 2 times already this season Alex fans will be hoping for the triple as they fork out £17/£12/£10 to get into Vale Park. Last season in the FA Cup we had a amazing run and pulled in just over £1million for the bank some fans blame the cup run for our relegation while Dario admits it was partly to blame but it wasn't soley to blame. Last year saw us beat Sheff Wed 2-1, which saw Ben Rix's first goal for the club, and then went to Millmoor where we were behind 2-1 at half time but after two world class goals from Deano and a last few minutes goal from David Vaughan saw the fight back end at 2-4 to us. this put us in the 5th Round of the FA Cup for the first time in our 10 years and the draw saw us visit Everton. The match was televised on BBC but didn't stop over 4,000 fans packing out the away end and Crewe came out on top. One of Clayton Ince's first ever starts saw national praise after his fantastic performance denying Everton of any chance. It was that man Hulse though who got the best chance heading onto the cross bar. So after a stalemate at Goodison Park it meant Sky cameras and Everton were on their way to Gresty road and things were so rosey after 23 minutes after Deano ran free on goal and slotted away the first goal of the match to put Crewe 1-0 against a premiership team. But before half time Everton and Radzinski brought it back to 1-1 and 2-1 and the Alex dropped out of the FA Cup. This is a cup Dario always wants to do well in as it brings in money and despite last season he reckons we have strength in depth to cope with injury's during a Cup run. During the week Vale were made to work hard. They were taken to the 7th penalty in their LDV Vans Trophy match at Vale Park on Tuseday night so lets hope they are physically knackered. Menawhile in that match Bridge-Wilkinson, a player who gave us the most trouble in the league game, is out along with impressive Ian Armstrong. Steve Brooker is facing a late fitness test and Sam
Vaughan BACK!!!!!!!!
Collins at the heart of defence is set to miss the game so it isn't a good time for Vale to play us when we have a fully fit confident side. Our only players to miss the game will be Paul Tierney who Manchester United don't want Cup and the same reason goes for Andy White and Mansfield. But when you can replace Tierney with Welsh international David Vaughan things can't be that bad. The team that won 2-0 against Blackpool in mid week is set for a reshuffle. Ex Vale star Dave Brammer will re-replace Lee Bell in the centre and dean Ashton has to dop back down to the bench to make way for the country's top scorer, Hulse, despite getting back to scoring ways against Blackpool. Bankole and Walker will also drop back to the bench and re-replaced by Ince and Walton. Other than that the team will stay the same and be the smae of which faced Brentford last weekend.

CreweAlex.com Prediction - Vale 0-2 Crewe, Hulse and David Vaughan.
