Celebrate Good Times
Blackpool come to Gresty Road with the trophy after being last seasons wnners of the trophy. They thrashed Cambridge 4-1 in the final at Cardiff. This season though they struggled to get past the first round with Scunthorpe in their way. After going 2-0 behind in the first 45 minutes it left the tangerines everything to do in the second half and they did it with Milington and Murphy pulling it level by the 68s minute. Then a goal from Taylor on the 81st minute saw the seasiders coming back up north a happy buch. They seem to be taking the trophy seriously with playing a near first team against Scunthorpe. While they beat Scunthorpe we went to Mansfield and comfortabley got past them with a hat-trick from 17 goal man Hulse and a goal from Jack saw us come away 4-0 winners.(CreweAlex.com Report)
Recently they've been on a rockety patch with no points in their last 3 games and conceding 10. First loss came at home to Stockport as they fell to a 3-1 defeat. Then got thrashed by Brentford 5-0 at Griffin Park and on Saturday lost
Should have been a goal at Wigan at the weekend
2-0 to Wigan despite being unlucky not to get a point because of poor officiating. While we have recently also had poor form we seem to be finding our touch after Saturdays good win over Brentford, 2-1.
In the last meeting with the Reds and the Tangerines saw the Alex victourios with Crewe coming from 1-0 behind to grab two second half goals from Murphy and Adebola to take all 3 points in our promotion season. A few months earlier at Gresty Road we came back from 1-0 to 2-1 to 2-2 but a Macauley goal saw us take 3 more points. Blackpool will come to Gresty Road and will field a strong side on Tuseday night, with Murphy and Taylor - who have 11 goals between them - taking the front line. Blackpool Manager - Steve McMahon said :- "The draw hasn’t been kind to us, it would have been nice to have had a home draw, but it will be a good game, I am just a little disappointed that we have to play a team from our division, we have got them again in just over a week, but we will go there, we are a good team and we will see what we can do. I hope it’s not a Sunday league game where its you play and we play, we have got to make sure we

compete and match them, and then play our football, we should work hard and earn the right to play."
Then continuing about the Tuseday game and then the game a week on Saturday :- "It will give both sidesa chance to suss each other out, it will be a good game regardless. Rob Hulse is good player, especially if as he is keeping the lad Ashton out, and he is scoring goals, they have jumped into the top six, and are on a high, they are a good team at home especially. I have had them watched they are a good passing side and have some pace up front in Rodney Jack."

As for team news. Well, Bankole will take Inces place between the post as Dario looks for more competition from the keepers. Walker will replace Walton in the heart of the defence as Dario said he wants Walton fit for the FA Cup game on Saturday at Vale. Tierney will carry on at left back as the Man Utd loanee impressed Dario. the biggest change will come up front as Deano (Ashton) comes in for 17 goal man Rob Hulse because Dario wants to give Deano 90 minutes to get some sort of confidence booster while Rob needs a rest.

CreweAlex.com Prediction - 2-0 Jack and Ashton on the score sheet.

We should have reaction from Seasiders.net with their view on the game tomorrow.
