As you can see the latics sit in 2nd place. 1 place ahead of the Alex and 1 point seperation. A win tomorrow would put us in a prime position to steam ahead and leave the rest behind. A win would put us 2 points clear of Oldham and hopefully 2 or 3 of Cardiff should they slip up, but with them playing Huddersfield it's not likley.
| Paul Tierney to come back into the side |
|
It's the game of the division tomorrow and makes it bigger after the controversial meeting at the end of December where Foz was sent off, Crewe played the better and lost, Oldham showed their true colours(They weren't nice either) while their keeper got Hulse booked by pretending to be kicked in the face by the 20 goal man. Hulse was booked and after 5 bookings he missed the FA Cup Replay and if Hulse could've played in that we would probably have gone through and now be previewing the Stoke game. The last meeting ended 2-1 with Foz being sent off by David Ellarey for two 'bookable' offences.
Tomorrow Foster will get a chance to get his own back, with a goal hopefully as he starts in the centre of defence. Tierney will return to the left as Sodje returns to the bench. Danny Milosevic will make his debut in goal and Dean Ashton will return but only to bench as Stevie Jones and Rob Hulse look certain to continue their impressive partnership.
Prediction :< Oldham 1-3
Crewe Alexandra >:
