The Alex travel to the McAlpine Stadium tomorrow in search of their second win of the season, after last weekends confidence boosting victory over Colchester United at the Alexandra Stadium.
Dario has a near full strength squad to chose from with Rodney Jack making himself available for selection after a calf injury had ruled him out of the opening three fixtures. The Railwaymen will enter the game full of confidence after last weekends morale boosting win over Colchester erradicating the previous home defeat to Notts County. Dario will probably keep with the side that started last weekends game with the only change being Richard Walker replacing the injured Sagi Burton (ankle). The Railwaymen will look to capitlise on Huddersfield's indifferent start to the season and will be fully aware of what the men from the McAlpine have to offer, unlike the last three games where the opposition have been something of an unknown quantity.
The Terriers have added experienced Scot, Kevin Gallagher to their squad this week, and he impressed in the reserves in midweek, netting a brace. Although the well travelled Scot will probably not feature tomorrow. One man who will feature is the experienced front man Andy Booth, the former Sheffield Wednesday striker is back at Huddersfield after a mixed time at Hillsborough and will pose a threat to the Alex rearguard. The game promises to be the Alex's toughest test yet and although Huddersfield are under new management after the sacking of Lou Macari in the summer, the club will be eager to get off to a decent start this season.
The Alex will need to be at their best to get anything from this trip and the game will be an decent indication as to how realistic our promotion ambitions are. Come 5 p.m. tomorrow the Alex may just be about to start some early season form or a performace like we witnessed a week last Tuesday may well leave a mauling from the Terriers bringing a few home truths to light!
