Cardiff and QPR final

QPR won the leg 2-1 on aggregate and are now looking for a return to Division One after a 2 year leave. Paul Furlong grabbed the tie winning goal in the 82nd minute last night. QPR face Cardiff at the Millennium Stadium on May 25th in, obviously, a winner takes all situation.

Following last nights match Oldham fans reported bottled and cans thrown at them, at Loftus Road, and after the game a group of QPR fans stood outside giving them some abuse. It's the same petty rubbish we saw back in April when we visited, maybe QPR will be chucked out of the play-offs... we can only hope.

In Division One last night it was confirmed we'll be visiting a new ground next season by the name of "The Madjeski Stadium" after Reading lost 3-1 to Wolves on aggregate. Wolves took a 2-1 to the Madjeski and sat back but after 80 odd minutes of Reading bombing forward Wolves hit them on the break and Alex Rae scored a 3rd goal. Wolves will play the winner of tonights game with Forest and Sheff Utd locked at 1-1.
